At the heart of the North Naples United Methodist Church lies The Village School, an educational institution that welcomes the opportunity to develop each child’s mind, body and spirit by teaching timeless Christian values in an ever-changing world. At The Village School our mission is to develop these values, promote academic competency, and foster enthusiasm for learning. We accomplish these goals by using whole brain learning methods which stimulate children’s use of varied intelligences.
Our committed faculty and staff do their best to help students develop and use life skills based on a personal relationship with Christ. Here, students will learn to continuously evaluate choices and consequences based on developing values and cooperation with their families, churches, and teachers.
It is our hope that student’s integrity, self-esteem, and competence will be enhanced by their positive relationships and mutual respect exemplified within the nurturing environment of North Naples United Methodist Church and school community.
When the founders of The Village School began planning our program we asked what would make our school unique. The answer is our approach to the curriculum. We use the whole brain learning theory to present our curriculum focusing on a variety of learning styles. We believe our approach is based on sound learning theory and we see positive results in the achievement level of our students. Our goals for the students are two-fold: to create a life-long learner and to give the students the tools they need to seek knowledge.
