Welcome from the Preschool Supervisor
Welcome to the Village School Preschool! I am blessed to be part of this wonderful community of children, families and educators. As you may know, the early childhood years have long been recognized as a significant time in the development of children. Since 1985, it has been our priority to offer an exceptional preschool atmosphere filled with experiential learning activities to encourage each child’s emotional, spiritual, social and intellectual growth. Our teachers and assistants create a loving and nurturing environment where our children can grow and learn by discovering the world from a Christian perspective. We embrace and model character values such as honesty, respect, integrity, sharing and caring through interactions with the children and one another.
Our philosophy is built around encouraging children through a positive learning environment to explore, question, create and grow. Our mission is to create a safe sanctuary of learning where children are challenged to achieve their full potential through the inspiration of dedicated teachers in an environment created to challenge each child’s natural desire to learn.
I am thankful for the opportunity to have worked in The Village School Preschool for over 20 years. Providing a safe and nurturing environment is my first priority. As a collaborator on our School Safety Committee, we regularly review procedures in an effort to have best practices in place. I have the opportunity to meet and connect with new families as they consider preschool for their children and we talk about their priorities, hopes and expectations. I have the honor to work with our exceptional teaching staff. We collaborate to provide a learning environment that is purposeful and playful so that children may grow and develop. Everyday, as I visit the preschool classrooms, I enjoy being part of the lives of these precious children and experiencing their joy and excitement as they grow and learn.
Welcome to Preschool
Our Preschool is an outreach ministry to children from six weeks through four years of age. The purpose is to develop the children’s understanding of God and Christian values by creating a caring and encouraging environment. We promote their intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development through experiential activities.
