Our early childhood program fosters the development of the whole child. Social and emotional development is a cornerstone in our preschool curriculum with the implementation of the Responsive Classroom Approach. Christ Skills are an important component of the day, modeled by our faculty and reiterated in weekly chapel services to enhance spiritual, social and emotional development.
Our classrooms are inspired by the Reggio Emilia design with emphasis on a “Loose Parts” environment that is welcoming, authentic, aesthetically pleasing, embracing nature and filled with purposeful materials.
Indoor and outdoor spaces are utilized to cultivate experiential child-directed learning and scientific inquiry. Splash Into Pre-K curriculum integrates Language Arts, Social Studies and Math components to augment our PreK 3 academics. Fundations, an Orton-Gillingham inspired Language Arts Program, and Singapore Math are in the implementation phases of our Pk4 curriculum to strengthen and enhance academic rigor prior to kindergarten. ECE students participate in art, music, Spanish and physical education enrichment classes.
